Question 1 – Why?
I like cycling.

Question 2 – How much preparation have you done so far and how much do you plan on doing?
I’m training for a marathon in October, so while not on the bike I’m getting fairly fit.  After that I’ll ride twice a week up to 70miles.

Question 3 – What do you think you will bring to the bike ride?
Guidance, a map and the ability to make others laugh. And beer, probably.

Question 4 – What do you think will be the hardest aspect of the ride?
Corker Hill!!!!

Question 5 – Who are you looking forward to biking with the most and the least?
Rob Corker was a cracking laugh last year, and Ben Nicholson and I led the way and helped each other get some serious speed up.  As for the least, anyone that moans.

Question 6 – If you could choose any York City player either past or present to bike with you, who would it be?
Alex Mathie, he’d know where all the decent boozers were!

Question 7 – Do you predict any injuries or falls for yourself or other riders?
I was the only one last year without a helmet, such is the confidence I have in myself. We had a few falls last year and there’s more riders this.  They’ll be one or two falls for sure.

Question 8 – What’s the first thing you’ll do when you finish?
Congratulate the others.
