Droylsden (a) 4-3. It was like an out of n the last, a fat villain on the opposition, Colin Walker bellyflopping Brodie…and the best climax to any game I’ve ever seen. A rare bright spot in a run of crap seasons.

Question 1 – Why?
Because I’m fat.

Question 2 – How much preparation have you done so far and how much do you plan on doing?
Nothing. I bought a pink women’s bike last year for my girlfriend and she hates it. It’s clunky, hardly moves and has a sticker on it that says ‘enigma’. It used to have a basket but that fell off. I’ve never fixed it. Basically, I need a new bike.

Question 3 – What do you think you will bring to the bike ride?Moodswings, a phone charger, incredible betting tips for the Dutch Jupiler League Friday night fixtures, Nifedipine tablets, crisps, Nivea moisturiser and talcum powder. I can also lighten the mood with celebrity impressions ranging from Akon to James Dyson.

Question 4 – What do you think will be the hardest aspect of the ride?
I have Raynauds which affects my circulation, and my hands often become extremely painful during the winter months. Good job the ride is early February then. Aside from that it’ll probably be having to watch the game at the end of it.

Question 5 – Who are you looking forward to biking with the most and the least?
Matty Nugent. I have some incredible conspiracy theories we need to discuss.

Question 6 – If you could choose any York City player either past or present to bike with you, who would it be?
My hero, the one and only, the rock, the impenetrable Jamal Fyfield. I miss him greatly. From the current squad I’d probably say Scott Flinders as my cousin Riane really fancies him and it would make her very jealous.
