Question 1 – Why?
Loved every minute of it last year and wanted to challenge myself again by doing it this year.
Question 2 – How much preparation have you done so far and how much do you plan on doing?
I’ve done more work in the gym so far than on the bike, keeping my general fitness up but that has included some tough spinning sessions.
Question 3 – What do you think you will bring to the bike ride?
Helping alongside the other riders with the fundraising and doing my best to help everyone get through the ride when it comes to it.
Question 4 – What do you think will be the hardest aspect of the ride?
The hills definitely, I’m sure that will be the same for most of the lads that did last years ride.
Question 5 – Who are you looking forward to biking with the most and the least?
I’m looking forward to doing it with all the lads and being joined the ones who didn’t take part in last years ride.
Question 6 – If you could choose any York City player either past or present to bike with you, who would it be?
I’d probably say Michael Ingham.
Question 7 – Do you predict any injuries or falls for yourself or other riders?
Obviously I hope that there are no injuries or falls. But going on last year it didn’t take long for someone to have a fall, so I will be very surprised if we manage to get through the whole thing injury free.
Question 8 – What’s the first thing you’ll do when you finish?
Have a drink and watch City (hopefully) collect the three points.
